In the 1950’s and 1960’s, civil rights was at the forefront of modern conversation and ties between respective sides were rapidly declining.  Then came an intelligent, animated, and motivating civil rights activist name Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  By leading non-violent protests, uniting both sides, and delivering heartwarming and inspiring public speeches he became famous in the Civil Rights movement and aided in the passing of the Civil Right Act passed in 1964.
